3D printed drones go micro and in the shape of a wasp

Are you bored with drones that all look the same? A German artist has made them more interesting by using the flexibility of 3D printing to make a drone shell that looks like a wasp. The Micro Drone itself is small enough to fit in your hand and can include pre-programmed tricks and flight patterns. Who wants to try one using F-Electric conductive filament?

3D printed DNA Helix Lamp with glow-in-the-dark filament

A young electrical engineer found a cool use of glow-in-the-dark PLA filament, a rotating DNA Helix Lamp. An electric motor in the middle supports and rotates the DNA helix inside an acrylic tube with LEDs on its tom and bottom. An Arduino microcontroller manages the rotation of the motor and LEDs. It also has a switch button that either turns the lamp on or off, or changes between different modes. The tutorial was released here.
